Where is Bilbao located?

Bilbao, the European city of the year, is surrounded by green mountains in the north of Spain. It’s the de facto capital of Basque Country, with a skyscraper-filled downtown. It’s famed for the Frank Gehry–designed Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, which sparked revitalization when it opened in 1997. The museum houses prominent modern and contemporary works, but it’s the curvy, titanium-clad building that receives the most attention.

The main sports are football, rugby, surfing and basque pelota.  We can organise any kind of training/games with local teams. We also offer lots of different types of excursions and visits in the area to nearby San Sebastian and over the border into Biarritz, France.

The nearest airport is Bilbao but the nearby city of Santander (with Ryanair flights) is only 55 minutes away by coach,  Madrid airport (various airlines) 2h 50 min by coach or even Biarritz airport in France is only a 1.5 hour drive from Bilbao.
