Perform in the Palau de la Musica

The Valencia Concert Hall is situated in the old river bed of the Turia. It was constructed in 1987 and is one of the banner buildings of modern Valencia, within what’s known as the vanguard architecture movement in the city. One of its most distinguising features is the glass enclosure that looks out on the gardens in the Turia. From here you can watch the fountains that have been designed to spout to the beat of the music heard from the Palau throughout the garden. The building was built specifically to promote culture and that’s exactly what it has done. Concerts, operas, ballets, conferences, presentations, and all sorts of other educational activities have been and continue to be held inside and outside the building.

You´ll experience Music in Spain like never before!

The Palau de la Música de València is a concert, cinema, arts, and exhibition hall in València situated on the Riu Túria. It is the home of the city’s municipal orchestra, the Orchestra of Valencia founded 1943.

It is a true palace for music in Spain, with mind blowing quality events and beautiful decoration and design. It’s also by the river so it’s great for a pre/post performance walk around.

Traditional Flamenco night in Valencia

Flamenco has its roots in Andalucia, and though it’s very much an import to Valencia, it’s still popular here. You’ll hear flamenco everywhere, and if you’re lucky you might come across a spontaneous flamenco jam on the beachfront. If you want to watch an organised flamenco show, there are some very good venues in the city. As long as you don’t expect it to be the most authentic flamenco experience, you can still lose yourself in these stirring, often emotional performances.
